*Pesticide Properties:
Winter Spray Oil is formulated for combating scale insects, other pests, and spider mite (Acarus) eggs on various deciduous fruit trees such as apples, almonds, and other leaf-dropping trees during the dormant period in winter.
*Composition and Active Ingredient Ratio:
It contains 90% paraffinic mineral oil.
*Chemical Group:
Mineral oils.
*Toxicity to Bees, Birds, and Fish:
The substance is non-toxic to humans and warm-blooded animals , birds and bees but toxic to fish.
*Toxicity Classification according to WHO:
(+ WHO Class III) It is unlikely that any poisoning will occur within the recommended rates of use.
*Toxicity:
The LD50 for oral ingestion in female rats is greater than 10000 mg/kg. It has no significant skin toxicity.
*Compatibility:
Compatible with most pesticides except sulfur and those with specific warnings against mixing with oils.
*Uses:
Effective against scale insects, other pests, spider mite (Acarus) eggs, and various types of mildew on apple and almond trees, as well as other leaf-dropping trees during the winter dormancy period.
*Application Method and Rate:
Ensure complete coverage of trees. Apply Winter Spray Oil at a rate of 1.5 to 2 liters per 100 liters of water, ensuring continuous mixing during spraying.
*Precautions:
Do not apply before or after certain compounds such as dinotefuran, cartap, morpholine, or cyflufenamid. Avoid spraying sulfur on trees treated with oil for at least 3 weeks, and captan after 2 months of oil application.
*Spraying Timing:
Apply during the dormant sap stage and before bud burst. Avoid using during freezing temperatures or when the temperature drops below 5°C.
*Mixing Instructions:
Add sufficient water to the spray tank for agitation. Add the pesticides to be used and continue mixing until homogeneous. Add the oil while stirring until fully emulsified. Add the remaining water to the spray tank while stirring until homogeneous.
