*Pesticide Properties :

Suncar is a selective systemic herbicide used to control various broadleaf and narrowleaf weeds in tomatoes and potatoes.

Suncar is suitable for pre- and post-emergence use, and being systemic, it is absorbed through both roots and leaves. For pre-emergence use, adequate soil moisture is necessary for optimal results. Suncar has no harmful effects on subsequent crops.

*Composition and active ingredient ratio:

Metribuzin 70% (w/w).

*Toxicity:

LD50 for female rats orally: 322 mg/kg; dermal LD50: 20,000 mg/kg.                                                                                                                                                                                               

*Toxicity to bees, birds, and fish:

Toxic to fish and birds, non-toxic to bees.

*Toxicity classification according to WHO standards:

WHO Class II - moderately toxic.

*Phytotoxicity:

The herbicide causes phytotoxicity to cucumbers, lettuce, onions, sugar beets, sunflowers, strawberries, and tobacco.

*Mode of action:

Suncar, a selective systemic herbicide and one of the triazine herbicides, works by inhibiting photosynthesis. Due to its systemic properties, it can be used before or after emergence. Soil preparation and soil type affect the efficacy of metribuzin, especially in heavy soils or those with high organic matter content requiring higher doses.

*Compatibility:

Compatible with other herbicides, but it's advisable to conduct a narrow-scale test.

*Harvest safety period:
