*Pesticide properties :
Tredolan is a selective herbicidal seed treatment effective against annual grassy and broadleaf weeds during germination in cotton fields, soybeans, and some vegetables.
* Composition and Active Ingredient Percentage:
Trifluralin 48% w/v.
* Phytotoxicity:
Tredolan does not cause harm to treated crops or subsequent crops if used under recommended conditions and usage rates.
* Toxicity to Bees, Birds, and Fish:
Low toxicity to birds and bees and toxic to fish.
* Toxicity classification according to World Health Organization standards:
(+ WHO Class III), it is unlikely to cause any toxicity within recommended usage rates.
* Compatibility:
Compatible with most commonly used herbicides.
* Persistence in Soil:
57-126 days.
*Special Information:
Diseases affecting young seedlings may weaken the plant and make it more susceptible to Tredolam , To address this treat the seeds with fungicides.
*Characteristics and Method of Use:
Tredolan eliminates weed seeds before germination and is mixed with the soil to prolong its effectiveness. It also kills a wide range of annual and perennial weeds such as Stellaria media, Veronica spp, Portulaca oleracea, Sorghum halepense (Seeds), and Lolium multiflorum, by killing their seeds during germination rather than after germination. Mixing it with the soil eliminates the need for rain to activate its effectiveness. The recommended amount of pesticide should be mixed with an appropriate amount of water, then sprayed on the soil surface and mixed with it. The pesticide can be sprayed from 6 weeks before planting up to one day before planting. The safety of the pesticide on the crop depends on the timing of application and the crop's planting schedule, as follows :
